Stephanie Heim, Associate Program Director — Health and Nutrition
The Health and Nutrition Portfolio Plan was launched one year ago, after a six-month, staff-engaged design process. The Portfolio Plan served as a road map for Health and Nutrition work in 2015 and a way for staff to align their individual work with the program area’s mission, strategies, and goals, as described in an introductory webinar (you can find the webinar on the FD intranet: 2015 Health and Nutrition Portfolio Plan).
In reflecting on the past year, we are pleased to note that the Health and Nutrition team has traveled far and reached most of the destinations laid out in the Portfolio Plan. For more information, please see Food for Thought. As we move into 2016, it is not yet clear whether the Portfolio Plan will be updated or whether it is time for a new map to be drawn. Regardless, strategies and priorities from the Portfolio Plan will continue to be implemented. We thank all Center for Family Development staff for the successes of the past year and look forward to a dynamic year ahead.
