Latino immigrants and other Spanish-speaking Minnesotans are in constant need of relevant information to help them to navigate financial, housing, school, health, and other U.S. systems. The Latino Financial Literacy Newsletter is a means to inform our target audiences about these topics in both Spanish and English. The newsletter has been in circulation since 2007. During the first six years, it was published monthly. Now, the newsletter has a new format and is being published bi-monthly. It’s delivered by email and U.S. mail, and in person during classes and one-to-one education sessions.
If you have expertise to share and would like to contribute to the Latino Financial Literacy Newsletter by writing an article on a topic of interest to Latino families and agency staff, please contact any member of the Latino Financial Literacy team. You may write the article in either Spanish or English; either way, it will be translated into the second language, as necessary.
The most recent edition of the Latino Financial Literacy Newsletter in both English and Spanish can be accessed here: http://z.umn.edu/lflt.
