January Declared SNAP Education and Outreach Month in Minnesota

Hear ye, hear ye! Governor Mark Dayton has officially proclaimed January as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Education and Outreach Month in Minnesota. The proclamation raises awareness about the importance of SNAP benefits, SNAP Education (SNAP-Ed), and SNAP outreach, and it’s a great springboard to showcase Health and Nutrition’s SNAP-Ed work.

This is also wonderful recognition from the Governor’s office for everyone involved in SNAP-Ed. Help spread the word about SNAP Education and Outreach Month. Here are some things you can do:
