Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is administered by the Food and Nutrition Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to introduce children to a wide variety of fresh produce. With help from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Specialty Crop Block Grant program, Minnesota grown foods are making their way into schools that participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.
